1. Server logfiles and technically necessary cookies
Each time you access our website, information is automatically retrieved and processed by our web server (e.g. information about your browser type and the version used as well as about your operating system, your IP address, host name, date and time of access, previously visited website from which you reached us (so-called http-referrer)). In addition, we use cookies to be able to offer our website and its functions (e.g., our website stores the session cookie "PHPSESSID", which enables us to prevent misuse of our website).

The processing of this data is technically necessary in order to deliver our website to your browser and to display content (legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR). We also use the data contained in the server log files to optimise our website, to ensure the security of our information technology systems and for abuse prevention (legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR). Personal data in log files (e.g., your IP address) are usually deleted or anonymised after 7 days, unless security incidents or other justified suspicions against users require longer data storage until the incident has been clarified. Data in session cookies are automatically deleted after the end of the corresponding session.

2. Generation of usage statistics
We use tools on our website to generate usage statistics. This enables us to optimise our website and make it more user-friendly and to identify problems with the use of our website (legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR). For this purpose, we process, among other things, your IP address, randomly generated IDs and the subpages you visit on our website as well as the date, duration and time of the visit. No data is transferred to third parties or abroad. Individual user behaviour through the use of cookies is only tracked with your express consent (legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR).

IV.    Personal data that we collect when you use certain functionalities

1. Newsletter
If Inheco offers the option of subscribing to a newsletter, Inheco must process the personal data required for this purpose. This concerns data that you provide when registering for the newsletter (e.g., names, e-mail addresses, etc.), and data that is collected automatically (e.g., IP addresses, date and time of registration, opening rates, etc.). In addition to providing the newsletter, Inheco also processes this data in order to prevent and investigate misuse, to verify e-mail addresses entered and to improve the newsletter and the communication with the customer. The processing of the data is based on your consent (legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR). Data that is required for the delivery of the newsletter (e.g., your e-mail address) remains stored until you unsubscribe from the newsletter. In addition to the possibility of declaring the withdrawal of your consent to Inheco by e-mail (see under VII.), you can also unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the unsubscribe button in the newsletter itself.

2. Contacting Inheco, order forms, registration as a customer
Inheco offers on its website the possibility to send a message via a contact form. In addition, Inheco provides other specific forms on its website, e.g., for ordering products, requesting test devices, for troubleshooting purposes, etc. For this purpose, Inheco processes the information provided by the customer in the respective form as well as further data such as date and time of the request or the IP address of the sender. If the respective form requires the user's consent, the legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR. Otherwise, the personal data will only be processed for the purpose of processing and executing the respective request (legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR) as well as for the protection against and the investigation of misuse and IT security incidents or if Inheco asserts other legitimate interests such as the optimisation of products or their marketing (legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR). Your personal data will only be stored for as long as is necessary for the processing and execution of the request or as long as statutory retention obligations require so.

In addition to contact requests, you also have the option of registering as a customer on our website. The statements made above regarding the legal basis and duration of data processing apply accordingly. The personal data processed for this purpose will remain stored until you delete your customer account with Inheco.

3. Applying for a job with Inheco
We use the external service provider Personio to receive and evaluate applications. Your personal data will be transmitted to Personio and processed by Personio. You also have the option of submitting your application to us by e-mail. For the purposes of central application management, we will also pass on data received by e-mail to our service provider Personio. We process your personal data only for the purpose of processing the application and, in the event of an employment, for the subsequent onboarding process (legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR and § 26 para. 1 BDSG) or for the protection of abuse, in order to be able to better assign any queries regarding to the job application or to be able to defend or assert legal claims against or on the part of Inheco (legal basis in each case is Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR). Also in the event of rejection, your personal data will continue to be stored for up to six months after the application process for these purposes.

4. Use of video plugins

V.   Recipients of your personal data

For the hosting of our site and for the provision of certain functionalities (e.g., the embedding of videos or for the application process), we use the services of third parties (e.g., hosting providers, video platforms such as Vimeo, application platforms such as Personio), which process personal data on our behalf. Through appropriate contracts with the service providers, we ensure that they only process data on our instructions. Data is not transferred to service providers in countries outside the EU/EEA.

VI.    Duration of the data processing

Unless otherwise stated in this Privacy Policy, we will only process your personal data for as long as is necessary for the specific processing purposes or other legitimate interests of Inheco (e.g., for the prevention and detection of misuse of the services and of criminal offences, or for the defense or assertion of legal claims) or as long as legal retention obligations require so. Subsequently, your personal data will either be deleted or anonymised.

VII.    Your rights

As a data subject within the meaning of the GDPR, you are entitled to the rights described in Art. 15 ff.. To assert your rights, you can either contact us at the above address or directly by e-mail: privacy@inheco.com

In particular, under the conditions of the GDPR, you have the right to access information about the personal data processed about you, as well as the right to rectification, erasure and restriction of the processing of your personal data. For personal data provided by you, you also have the right to receive it in a structured, common and machine-readable format, as well as the right to transfer it to another controller.

In addition, you can object to data processing based on our legitimate interests (the legal basis is then Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR) under the conditions of the GDPR or withdraw your consent to the processing of personal data at any time with effect for the future (the legal basis is then Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR). Furthermore, you can contact the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht, BayLDA) with complaints at any time. If we transfer personal data to countries outside the EU/EEA, you may request to be informed about the appropriate safeguards pursuant to Art. 46 of the GDPR and request corresponding copies of the contracts.

Finally, you have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing - including profiling - which produces legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affects you. Inheco does not use such procedures.

Processing of (personal) data by the operator of the recruitment website

General information

This recruitment website is operated by Personio SE & Co. KG, which offers a human resource and candidate management software solution (https://www.personio.com/legal-notice/). Personio’s role is limited to operating the software and this recruitment website and, in this context, being a processor under article 28 of the GDPR. In this case, the processing by Personio is based on an agreement for the processing of orders between the controller and Personio. In addition, Personio SE & Co. Access logs (“server logs”)

Each access to this recruitment website automatically causes general protocol data, so-called server logs, to be collected. As a rule, this data is a pseudonym and thus does not allow for inferences about the identity of an individual. Without this data, it would, in some cases, be technically impossible to deliver or display the contents of the software. In addition, processing this data is absolutely necessary under security aspects, in particular for access, input, transfer, and storage control. Furthermore, this anonymous information can be used for statistical purposes and for optimizing services and technology. In addition, the log files can be checked and analyzed retrospectively when unlawful use of the software is suspected. The legal basis for this is §25 subsection 2 Sentence 2 TDDDG. Generally, data such as the domain name of the website, the web browser and web-browser version, the operating system, the IP address, as well as the timestamp of the access to the software is collected. The scope of this log process does not exceed the common log scope of any other site on the web. These access logs are stored for a period of up to 7 days. There is no right to object to this.

Error logs

So-called error logs are generated for the purpose of identifying and fixing bugs. This is absolutely necessary to ensure we can react as quickly as possible to possible problems with displaying and implementing content (legitimate interest). As a rule, this data is a pseudonym and thus does not allow for inferences about the identity of an individual. The legal basis for this is §25 subsection 2 Sentence 2 TDDDG. When an error message occurs, general data such as the domain name of the website, the web browser and web-browser version, the operating system, the IP address, as well as the timestamp upon occurrence of the respective error message and/or specification is collected. These error logs are stored for a period of up to 7 days. There is no right to object to this.

Use of cookies

So-called cookies are used on parts of this recruitment website. They are small text files which are stored on the device with which you access this recruitment website. As a general rule, cookies serve the purpose of ensuring secure access to a website (“absolutely necessary”), implementing certain functionalities such as standard-language settings (“functional”), improving the user experience or the performance of the website (“performance”), or placing targeted advertisements (“marketing”). On this recruitment website, we generally use only cookies that are absolutely necessary, functional or performance-related, in particular for implementing certain default settings such as language, for identifying the job advertising channel, or for analyzing the performance of a job advert via which a user accessed this recruitment website. The use of cookies is absolutely necessary for providing our services and thus for the performance of the contract (article 6 (1) b) of the GDPR). Period of storage: up to 1 month or until the end of the browser session Right to object: You can determine via your browser settings whether you allow or object to the use of cookies. Please note that deactivating cookies may result in limited or completely blocked functionalities of this recruitment website.

Rights of data subjects

If Personio SE & Co. KG as the controller processes personal data, you as the data subject have certain rights under Chapter III of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), depending on the legal basis and the purpose of the processing, in particular the right of access (article 15 of the GDPR) and the rights to rectification (article 16 of the GDPR), erasure (article 17 of the GDPR), restriction of processing (article 18 of the GDPR), and data portability (article 20 of the GDPR), as well as the right to object (article 21 of the GDPR). If the personal data is processed with your consent, you have the right to withdraw this consent under article 7 III of the GDPR. To assert your rights as a data subject in relation to the data processed for the purpose of operating this recruitment website, please refer to Personio SE & Co. KG’s Data Protection Officer (see item B).

In this case, the new data privacy statement applies to any later visit of this recruitment website or any later job application.
